HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Save up to 75% of the energy normally used to heat water.

Heat Pump systems have been installed in a host of applications, both domestic and commercial over the last 20 years. They have been used to provide hot water for domestic, commercial, industrial, swimming pool and space heating.

A Heat Pump hot water system:

Is one of the most energy efficient water heaters available
Has almost twice the efficiency as a comparable "flat plate" solar system*
Can produce more hot water for less than any other comparative system.**

* For domestic hot water heating in "temperate climate" cold weather
** Based on large demand e.g. 305 l/day (55MJ/day Sydney) or more

How it Works
Believe it or not, the Heat Pump water heater operates on the same principle as your refrigerator. It literally extracts energy from the atmosphere - from thin air - day or night, rain or shine. Heat Pumps operates in all seasons of the year.

The only electrical power used is to occasionally run a compressor.

The overall result is that a Heat Pump unit only uses about 1/4 to 1/3 of the power needed by conventional electric or gas water heaters to heat the same amount of water.

Cost Saving
If you are a high user of hot water the savings made can be substantial and the Heat Pump water heater can pay for itself in a relatively short period of time.

More Hot Water
Over 800 liters of hot water is available per day - hot water - no worries!

Low Heat Loss
Superior CFC free insulation (2% heat loss) means the Heat Pump water heater has low heat loss. In other words the Heat Pump holds water temperatures longer and that saves you money.

Long Tank Life
Indirect heat transfer is a gentle heating method that heats the tank's whole surface without electric booster elements corroding inside the water tank. Hot spots from heating elements are eliminated and the tank does not suffer from heat stress, saving you replacement costs. A sacrificial anode is also incorporated into the tank to provide protection against any electrolytic corrosion that may occur (this is similar to what is done for a ships propeller).

No booster element
Indirect heat transfer
Longer tank life expectancy
High efficiency

The Heat Pump water heater has a life expectancy similar to your refrigerator.
